Frequently Asked Questions

About the Admissions Process

Here are the questions we hear most often about the admissions process.

  • Can I drop by at any time for a school tour?

Due to the high interest in our programs, tours are held in the mornings by appointment. We are happy to answer general questions on the phone or by email. You may also schedule a tour online.

  • Who should attend the school tour?

Both parents (if applicable & possible). The initial tour is for adults only; your child will have an opportunity to visit the classroom and meet the teacher at a later date.

  • Is there a waiting list?

Yes, normally, depending on the program.

  • How far in advance may I submit an application?

Parents are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

  • May I request a specific classroom/teacher?

No, we are unable to accommodate requests. All of our AMI Guides are highly-trained and exceptional teachers. The balance of ages and temperaments in the environments to offer all children an opportunity to grow to their full potential is our focus with class placements.

  • What are the factors that determine my child’s placement?

Depending on the openings that are available, our goal is to balance the classrooms by age and temperament of the children.

  • Is there a sibling discount?

Yes, there is a 10% tuition discount for the second child.
