The Arts

Art and music are an integral part of the Montessori environment as avenues for self-expression and as studies of the history of human creativity.

Beginning in the Toddler program and continuing through Primary and Elementary, opportunities are available daily for children to appreciate and participate in artistic creation and musical activities.

Beginning in Lower Elementary, all elementary students at Waypoint Montessori receive detailed instruction in art history as well as actively participating in multiple mediums of art creation through the Art Specialty curriculum. The Music Specialty curriculum provides multiple ways for children to sing, to play instruments, and to collaborate while creating joyous music together.
