COVID-19 Information

Waypoint Montessori takes the health and well being of all students and staff very seriously. As the understanding of COVID-19 has evolved, we have updated our policies and procedures accordingly. Waypoint Montessori has implemented layered mitigation strategies in our community following CDC guidelines to remain open safely.

Waypoint Montessori is a mask optional campus.

WIth a high regard for the basic health and safety of the children in our daily care, as well as for the adults who support their learning, all adults on campus, all Primary and Elementary children, and all visitors to campus may choose the mask option that best supports their health, safety, and comfort.

Waypoint Montessori has True HEPA air purifiers in each classroom environment to support healthy indoor ventilation, we continue temperature checks at arrival, and ask all community members and guests to perform a COVID self-assessment each day prior to coming to the campus. Anyone with symptoms of illness should remain home and consult with their healthcare provider.

As the pandemic has shown, this situation remains fluid and changeable. The COVID-19 Health and Safety Policy will be updated as needed.

As a Montessori community, we know that all of our decisions impact those around us. We ask all Waypoint families to commit to careful, daily monitoring for symptoms of illness that may impact other children with health challenges in their classrooms. We also encourage all those eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Our Montessori foundation recognizes the interdependence of all members of a community; we appreciate your commitment to the health, safety, and happiness of the children and staff of Waypoint Montessori.
